PICMG completes military environmental testing of MicroTCA connector system (Aug 16, 2010)

Based on the requirements of the MIL-STD-801 and RTCA/DO-160 standards, the testing also included additional electro-static discharge testing to 15KV.

UNH-IOL launches IEEE 802.3ba consortium for 40G/100G Ethernet standard (Aug 2, 2010)

The consortium is currently accepting founding member companies who will have an early opportunity to provide input as the new high speed Ethernet standard evolves.

HomePlug boosts AV2 spec (Jul 29, 2010)

The AV2 specification will be fully interoperable with current HomePlug AV and future HomePlug Green PHY and IEEE 1901 products.
