ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 27 -- United States Patent no. 8,100,729, issued on Jan. 24, was assigned to Jess-Link Products Co. Ltd. (Taipei, Taiwan).
"Cable Connector and Wiring Assembly" was invented by Chun-Hsu Chen (Chung Ho, Taiwan) and Chun-Hua Chen (Chung Ho, Taiwan).
According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A cable connector includes a connecting head, a wiring assembly and a cable. The cable is assembled with the wiring assembly, and then the wiring assembly is assembled with the connecting head, thereby forming a cable connector. The wiring assembly has a rear-half portion and a front-half portion that are connected to each other. The distal end of the rear-half portion is recessed to form a plurality of wiring ports. The interior of each wiring port is provided with a plurality of cable troughs. The cable troughs extend toward the front-half portion to form a plurality of wiring slots on the front-half portion."
The patent was filed on May 11, 2010, under Application No. 12/777,328.
