Most notably, the Taiwan connector maker Foxlink announced consolidated revenues of NT$7.02 billion (US$243.89 million) for May, up 19.15% on the month and 74.36% on the year. Market watchers contacted by DigiTimes said that Foxlink's strong revenue growth in May was partially due to the company's investments in DRAM module maker Power Quotient International (PQI), as Foxlink started counting PQI's revenues into its own results in May.
Meanwhile, connector maker Lotes (TPE:3533) reportedly also announced consolidated revenues of NT$705 million for May, up 2.95% on the month and 34.02% on the year. DigiTimes' market watchers expect factors including increasing penetration of new notebook platforms, the replacement trend in the desktop PC market, and increasing demand for AMD products, to benefit Lotes' revenue performance in the second half of the year.
