Adhesive Dispenser

The 752SYS Dispenser is said to apply controlled beads of low- to medium-viscosity adhesives faster and easier than squeeze bottles and other manual applicators. By using controlled air pressure instead of operator guesswork to regulate adhesive application, the compact system reportedly increases productivity, improves quality and reduces the risk of repetitive-stress hand injuries. The CX6002 Diplex Filter Module allows two-way communication between the customer premise equipment and the cable network, reportedly with minimal crossover interference between the downstream broadcast frequency spectrum and the customer-to-Internet upstream communication band. Measuring 1.00 X 0.50 X 0.23", the surface-mount product is said to minimize board space while enabling compliance to DOCSIS and other network requirements. EMI Gaskets

Spring-Line EMI Gaskets are designed for shielding and grounding of standard D-connector interfaces. They are available in high-performance beryllium copper and stainless steel, and are said to provide excellent EMI protection by ensuring that maximum surface contact is achieved through independent metal gasket fingers. The products reportedly fill gaps from 0.200 to 0.004", and are available to fit nine, 15, 25, 37 and 50 pin sizes. They are also available in strips and individual grounding fingers. The Stripmaster Model 45-940 is reportedly capable of processing up to 2,200 wire pieces per hour. It is said to automatically measure, strip and cut insulations from 30 to 8 AWG. The adjustable strip length control, combined with an internal automatic trigger, provides repeatable strips from 0.06 to 1.00". The product has a built-in, resettable cycle counter and an electronic cycle control with LCD display, and it is engineered to operate with three blade types. Thermal Interface Pads

Thermally Conductive Interface Pads 5507 and 5507S are said to offer five times the thermal conductivity of the company's thermally conductive tapes, as well as gap-filling capability. The products serve as an interface material between heat sinks and electronic devices in notebook computers, game stations and telecommunications systems. Weldmaster Series Ultrasonic Spot Welders can be used by automakers to weld nonferrous metal assemblies and dissimilar materials. The MH-1545 model has 4,500 W of power and produces ignition modules where a copper slug is welded to an aluminum plate. The MH2014D model is available in power levels of 1,500 and 2,500 W. The welders use the Wedge-Reed coupling system, which utilizes a vertical, vibrating reed driven by a transducer and horn perpendicular to the reed to give a low-amplitude, high-impedance combination. The AFM-6V Steel City Access Floor Module has high-density capacity for up to 16 Category 5e or fiber optic connectors, and accommodates two single-gang communication faceplates. A large, rectangular hole cutout facilitates "straight-through" feeding of fiber optic, coaxial or UTP data cables. The module is said to be designed for use with raised floors, including rigid or waffled floor panels, carpet and tile. EMbassy 3.0 Software is said to enable electromechanical engineers to design and document wire harness and cable systems using a 3-D model. Innovations reportedly include performance boosts for large assemblies, a write API enabling end user customization and support for rectangular wire bundles or channel cross sections. The 545 Series CompactPCI Enclosure is designed for industrial, data communications, telecommunications and prototype applications. Five to eight 6U X 160 mm front-accessible slots and 6U X 80 mm rear-accessible transition slots are featured. It is constructed of 0.09" lightweight 5052-H32 aluminum, is compliant with IEEE 1101.10/11 and meets FCC Class A/B, UL 1950, CSA 22.2 and CE. Dot Dispensing

The Micro Dot Valve is designed for small volume dispensing, reportedly dispensing dots as small as 10 mil or smaller. The rotation of the auger is said to be controlled by a brushless servo motor with an encoder that can be programmed with specific dispense parameters, and provides more than 57,000 counts per 360° turn of the auger. Crimping Tool

This Hand-held Pneumatic Crimping Tool is designed for closed-end connectors (pigtails). Reportedly lightweight and slim, the product is portable and capable of being suspended on the production line or used within a unit as it is being built. Connector Cleaning Cassette

The Universal Connector Cleaning Cassette is a pocket-sized unit that features a cleaning tape on wheels that allows fresh tape to be advanced as needed. To facilitate the cleaning of pinned connectors, the product is backed by a clearance runner, permitting contact of the tape and the connector's end face between the connector pins. HotStamp 455 Wire Markers can perform end marking of wire or cable up to 0.59" OD, with a different-color alphanumeric string up to 16 characters long. Continuous marking at set intervals without sacrificing production speed is said to be featured. The machines are equipped with a stationary V-block wire guide to permit the marking of larger cables, and a foot pedal for standalone operation is available. The Craftsman Cutter No. 9-42759 features hardened steel blade inserts to reportedly cut through steel wire rope and cable up to 0.1563" in diameter and stainless-steel cable and mild steel rod up to 0.1250" in diameter. The Craftsman Cutter No. 9-42758 is said to cut through copper and aluminum electric cable up to size No. 2 (0.292" in diameter), as well as braided fuel line. The products feature heavy-duty, spring-assisted handles with vinyl grips and forged alloy-steel jaws that reportedly provide exceptional strength. The 4U CompactPCI Pro System includes a four-slot CompactPCI backplane with H.110 telephony bus, a 400 W ATX-power supply, and disk drive bays for one 5.25" and two 3.5" drives. The 3534 is a high-purity, liquid epoxy, glob-top encapsulant for chip-on-board applications. It offers controlled flow to encapsulate electronic devices and penetrate through wire leads. Formulated to dispense easily and exhibit minimal slumping, the encapsulant cures in 30 minutes at 150°C. The JB1113 Liquid Dispenser is designed for application of most liquids and fluids. Industry applications include electronic components and assembly, medical devices, computer and disc drives, instruments, optical items and consumer products. The dispense cycle time (between 0.01 and 31.0 seconds) is operator-adjustable, and the unit has an adjustable "barrel suck-back" feature to prevent dripping of low-viscosity materials. Connectivity Tester

The NetTool Connectivity Tester combines cable, network and PC configuration testing in a palm-sized tool. The tool checks the link pulse for speed, polarity, duplex, level information and receive pair. It also monitors network health for full-duplex connections, with individual counts for both the desktop and the network conversations. The Model WC500 Wire and Tubing Cutter is microprocessor-controlled, and cuts wire to length 30 to 10 AWG and nonmetallic tubing up to 0.50" in diameter. Lengths are programmable in inches or millimeters from 0.01 to 999.99" (0.1 to 9,999.9 mm), and the counter is programmable up to 99,999 pieces.
