The High-density ModuPack System is designed to deliver reliability in automated volume assembly and is said to contribute to reducing cable harness weight by 50 percent. The system consists of a range of preloaded, modular, multiway connectors for flat flexible wiring. Connector modules can be preloaded with a combination of miniature and power terminals. PowerFlex Circuits can be produced with heavy copper layers up to 0.03" thick, and can be manufactured to UL standards to meet Program 758 (AVLV2) Component Appliance Material and Program 764 (ZPFW2) Component Wiring Harnesses. Type-UHF Connector

In response to demand for a nonsolder PL-259 UHF connector for LMR-400 flexible low-loss cable, the EZ-400-UM EZ-install Type-UHF Male Connector is available. The connector eliminates the need to solder the center conductor and braid, which can cause overheating and melting of the cable dielectric. The center conductor slides into a silver-plated spring finger contact pin and the outer braid is attached with a crimp-style attachment ring using standard 0.429" hex dies. Circular Connector

The HR30 Circular Connector is a push-pull latched connector designed to meet IP67 requirements, which enables it to withstand submersion for up to 30 minutes when mated. The product has an outside diameter of 12.6 mm and houses six contacts in a lightweight plastic that is reportedly resistant to corrosion. K-Flex Microwave Coaxial Cable Assemblies are used in space, aircraft and military applications. The flexible assemblies reportedly perform well against torque, crushing, abrasion, tension loads and extreme flexing, and handle temperature cycles from -50° to 125°C. Electrical performance is said to be mode-free through 18.0 or 26.5 GHz, depending on the combination of connectors used. Diameters of 0.095, 0.190, 0.230, 0.350 and 0.500" are available. The Series 800 Vertisocket has a 0.4 center and 22 pins. It accepts standard LEDs and incandescent displays, as well as 0.5" (21.70 mm) and 0.6" (15.24 mm) large displays. Standard body material is UL 94-HB glass-filled nylon, and a high-temperature body material is UL 94V-0 4/6 nylon. The product has four-fingered collet contacts manufactured of beryllium copper alloy per UNS C17200 ASTM-B194-92. Triaxial Connectors

These Triaxial Connectors are designed for applications requiring the removal of noise radiation or crosstalk, such as antenna, radar and broadcast systems. Han-brid Connectors allow the connection of a variety of fieldbus cables containing fiber optic, copper and copper twisted pairs in one package. They accommodate fiber optic or copper twisted-pair data transmission, along with a power supply of 24 V, 10 A, in one connector, and are compatible with many standard hoods and housings, including enclosures offering IP65 and IP68 protection. This Connector and Cable Assembly is designed specifically for attaching to the spade terminals on IGBT power modules. Suitable for two faston tabs at 2.8 X 0.5 mm, the products are made with integrated locking clips built in. Three grid spacings for the faston tabs are available: 4.0, 4.7 and 6.0 mm. The S2L/B2L High-density, 3.5 mm Connectors for PCBs are available in versions up to 36 poles. They are said to offer a high contact density for single wiring, without special tools. The products feature a wire size range of 28 to 18 AWG and are UL-rated at 50 V and 5 A. They are available with open-end headers for end-to-end stacking without pole loss, closed-end headers to reportedly prevent misalignment and a release plug for easy disconnection. Low-profile Connector

The Type BHT Connector is designed to provide interconnection of liquid crystal display backlight lamps to their starters. Electrical creepage distance is reportedly sufficient for high-voltage (1,500 V AC/DC) use. Designed for high-density circuits, the connector has a profile of 2.8 mm (0.110") after mounting. It is available in two circuits rated at 1.0 A (AC/DC), and is said to withstand voltage at 4,000 VAC per minute. Wire sizes 28 to 24 AWG are accommodated. Temperature range is -25° to 85°C. J.S.T. SCSI Cables/Adapters
Adapters, Cables and Terminators are available that are compatible with the SCSI Ultra-160 standard, defined in SPI-3. The Ultra-160 SCSI LVD bus reportedly enables a data throughput rate of 160 MBps for wide (16-bit) SCSI. Two internal "T" type terminators include one that mounts to a 68-pin male cable connector, and one that is IDC-terminated directly to a flat ribbon cable. The product is available with conductors ranging from 28 to 18 AWG, with conductor pitches ranging from 2.0 to 6.4 mm or wider. Maximum operating voltage is 250 VAC and dielectric strength is 1,500 VAC. Buccaneer 400 Series Connectors have an overall diameter of just over 19 mm and offer environmental sealing to IP68. Multiple pole configurations include two and three pole rated at 8 A, 250 V; four, six and eight pole rated at 5 A, 125 V; and 10 and 12 pole rated at 1 A, 50 V.
