Micro Interfaces

The MIT/MIS Series consists of matched-impedance micro interfaces on 0.025" (0.635 mm) pitch with 38, 76, 114, 152, 190, 228 and 266 I/Os and a discrete ground plane with through-hole leads on 0.100" (2.540 mm) pitch. The interfaces are fully tested for 50 and 75 Ω systems for impedance, VSWR, attenuation, crosstalk, propagation delay and rise time at frequencies from 10 MHz to 1 GHz. Differential Cable

Skewclear Plus is a shielded differential cable technology that addresses the issues of low skew, low crosstalk, minimum termination reflections and low assembly cost in the emerging InfiniBand links. The high-bandwidth cable family targets copper InfiniBand links running at 500 MB through 6 GB bandwidths. PC/104 Connectors

PC/104 and PC/104-Plus Connectors comply with IEEE P996 interconnection requirements and are designed for "flat rock," pressfit installation, which is said to eliminate soldering and ease assembly. The PC/104 is a SFF, mezzanine-type connector that implements a standard ISA bus with two dual rows of 0.1" pitch contacts that can be stacked up to 11 high. Backplane Interconnect

This High-density Backplane MT Interconnect System is said to provide a smooth transition from PCB components to the backplane using a standard MT interface. The product is useful for connecting backplanes and cross-connect systems in computing and telecommunications equipment. It is suitable for computer, server, workstation and test instrument applications. A liquid crystal polymer plastic matrix containing high-density metal contacts of up to 1.0 mm spacing is featured. Sealed Connectors

The Buccaneer 900 Series of heavy-duty, IP68 sealed connectors includes a seven-pole version for all body styles. The connectors are rated at 430 VAC and 32 A per contact and use screw terminals for termination and maintenance. The 5.0 mm Type 349 Pluggable Terminal Block with lift system termination mates with a variety of vertical and right-angle headers. Type FKZ ZIF Connectors are designed for flexible printed circuits and flexible flat cable. With a pitch of 0.5 mm (0.0197"), the products reportedly meet the demands of audio/visual equipment, digital cameras, portable DVDs, notebook PCs and PDAs. Molded Cables
EverFlex Molded Cables are reportedly compact, can be custom-shaped and prevent pinch points. They are said to be able to endure 500,000 flexes because compression and tension is distributed evenly throughout the length of wires rather than at one point. The predetermined and repeatable spacing between conductors is said to allow users to optimize impedance-matching electrical characteristics of wiring in a product. Signal Check Adapters

TurboQuad Gold is a high-performance electronic cable designed for double-speed (2.125 Gbps) Fibre Channel applications. It is said to feature reduced time delay skew (1 ps per ft maximum on 21 AWG), improved crosstalk (5 percent [p-p] maximum) and improved shielding (2X lower than 2.0 Gbps Fibre Channel requirements). Panel-mount Banana Jacks are reportedly compatible with industry-standard banana plugs, including digital multimeter plugs, with or without safety shrouds.
