PHT Microtite connectors from Precision Hermetic target accelerometer, pressure sensor applications

Mar 31, 2010

Precision Hermetic Technology (Redlands, CA) has introduced its PHT Microtite connectors in two and three contact positions. These miniature titanium interconnect products with glass to metal hermetic seal reliability are especially suited for accelerometer and pressure sensor applications.

Featuring a proprietary hermetic interface, the connectors incorporate 0.38 mm tin-plated contacts, in a 4.9 mm x 5.82 mm package with M4.5 thread, and are available as a plug and receptacle mated pair.

The connectors' insulation resistance is greater than 1000 Meg Ohms, with a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 VDC at a leak rate of 1 x 10-9 cc/sec helium at a pressure differential of 1 atmosphere.  The operating temperature range is -180 deg C to +1770 deg C.

Since 1989 Precision Hermetic has manufactured glass-to-metal seal interconnect products with diverse applications in military and commercial aircraft, missile and air defense systems, ship-borne systems, underwater and submersible devices, semiconductors and related test equipment, high-reliability batteries, radio frequency communications, oil and gas, pyrotechnic, cryogenic, medical and industrial controls, as well as other harsh environments such as mission critical space programs.
