Harting announced that its rugged, flexible har-flex connector series, designed for a wide range of board-to-board and board-to-cable SMT applications, now includes an angled version. Adding to the straight and ribbon cable model connectors previously available, the new addition makes highly flexible and modular equipment configurations possible, says the company.
The har-flex connectors meet all requirements for transmission protocols such as Gigabit Ethernet and PCI Express, with data rates up to 3.125 Gbit achievable, notes Harting. A variety of different stacking heights for mezzanine connectors and flexible cable lengths for IDC connectors for cable-to-board applications enable high degree of versatility in system designs.
