Tyco Electronics recently named Heilind Electronics Inc. its 2009 Distributor of the Year for the Americas. The annual award recognizes the Tyco Electronics distributor that has had the greatest impact on the manufacturer's business in the region.
Heilind's Tyco inventory includes connectors, relays, switches, circuit breakers, wire and cable, terminal blocks, and heat-shrink tubing.
"We are honored to have been selected as Tyco Electronics' Distributor of the Year for the AMericas, and I'm personally very proud of the team effort put forth by the entire Heilind Electronics organization to achieve this important recognition," said Bob Clapp, Heilind's president.
