End-to-end, commercial HDBaseT demo set for InfoComm 2011

HDBaseT Alliance, the cross-industry alliance formed to promote and standardize HDBaseT technology for whole-home and commercial distribution of uncompressed high definition multimedia content, announced it will demonstrate devices with integrated HDBaseT technology supporting an end-to-end commercial installation at InfoComm 2011, Booth #2474, in Orlando, Fla., June 15-17.

The Alliance will showcase several demonstrations highlighting the benefits of HDBaseT for large scale commercial installations. Booth visitors will experience end-to-end commercial installation scenarios, comprised of large signage displays connected to a variety of products such as matrixes, switchers, receivers and extenders provided by HDBaseT Alliance member companies including AMX, Atlona, Crestron Electronics, Gefen, Kramer Electronics, Microsemi, Panduit and more. The various demonstrations will focus on integrated HDBaseT technology and device interoperability.

The Alliance will also demonstrate a multi-room installation concept showcasing the vision and progress of HDBaseT technology in the consumer electronics market as well as the unique power capabilities it enables. Additionally, throughout the show, products from HDBaseT Alliance member companies Atlona and Gefen will be given away to random booth visitors as raffle prizes.
