ALLEN, Texas -- Amphenol Fiber Systems International (AFSI) announced that it is now certified by the United States Naval Surface Warfare Center (Dahlgren, VA) as a provider of the FKIT001 (NAVSEA DWG 6872813), FKIT002 (NAVSEA 6872811) and FKIT007 (NAVSEA 7085185) fiber optic tool kits.
The kits support all NAVSEA approved M83522 ST, SC, and M28876 connector products.
"AFSI underwent the extensive and demanding qualification process with NAVSEA in order to assure our military and AIT customers that it can provide a quality product that enables its customers to meet the stringent assembly requirements of the United States Navy as outlined in Mil-Std 2042B," says Mark Roehm, AFSI Market Manager.
AFSI now adds the NAVSEA approved shipboard and submarine tool kits to its existing line of NAVSEA qualified products. Customers can obtain all of the NAVSEA approved tools, tool kits, test equipment, MQJs connector products and Mil-Std 2042 based training from AFSI or its distributors.
