Hirose subcontracts MRG as cable assembly partner

Dec 20, 2010

Manufacturing Resource Group (MRG), a Massachusetts based cable assembly contract manufacturer, announce that it has been selected and approved as a Value Added Interconnect Partner for Hirose Connectors U.S.A.

VIP cable assembly subcontractors will provide customers with first class service and capabilities, according to Hirose. The program ensures that the partner has met and continues to meet Hirose’s high quality standards and manufacturing goals.

According to MRG Vice President Mark Griffith, “We are very excited and proud to have been one of very few sub contractors in the country to be selected by Hirose. The VIP approval reflects our own high standards of quality and workmanship. We pride ourselves on not being just another cable assembly company but a leading provider of interconnection solutions."

"Not all companies can pass the standards demanded by the Hirose audit," added Griffith.

MRG is a UL and CSA approved cable assembly manufacturer as well as ISO 9001:2008 and ITAR certified. MRG also offers kitting, Kan Ban and stocking programs to assist their customers with their supply chain challenges.

“We welcome inquiries from OEM’s seeking assistance with their cable assemblies, wire harness assemblies and electro-mechanical assembly needs. We provide engineering expertise and assistance to insure our customers receive the highest quality at the best value," concluded MRG's Griffith.
