December 3, 2009 -- RFI Corporation has introduced a line of custom filtered connectors, designated the RF16800 Series. The connectors’ design integrates MIL-STD connectors with “QPL” subminiature filters. The integrated filter connector offers significant weight and cost savings, maintains the company, and allows for simplified customization, service, and ease of installation.

RFI says it can design custom filtered connectors for special applications including power line filters, as well as signal, data, and communication filters, assembled into the base of MIL-STD connectors. In most applications, the filter connector assembly will fit the same footprint as the standard connector, with a slight increase of depth. Contact RFI engineering for specific applications and product designs.

RF16800 Subminiature QPL filter capabilities:
Type: C, L, Pi, T, LL
DC voltage range:  28 - 200 VDC
AC voltage range:  115 - 220 VAC, 50 - 400 Hz
Current range:  1 mA - 10 A
Insertion loss range:  10 KHz to  10 GHz
Available QPL filters:   M15733/ 23,24,25,26,27,34,38,39,48,49,56,58,59
