OFS and Sterlite settle lawsuit

January 15, 2010 -- OFS Fitel LLC (OFS), a designer, manufacturer, and supplier of fiber-optic products, and Sterlite Technologies Ltd., India (Sterlite) have fully and completely resolved the patent and related disputes pending in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, Civ. Action No. 1:02-cv-02149-CAP. As part of the settlement, OFS has granted Sterlite a worldwide license to certain OFS optical fiber patents. Having resolved this dispute, the parties jointly look forward to a continued successful future business relationship. The terms of the settlement agreement are confidential.
