Single and stacked KMDG Series Mini DIN connectors with grounding tabs are suitable for audio, video, computer and digital equipment applications. The B4T option comes fully shielded with four front grounding tabs. This design is said to allow the part to fit into tighter spaces while still grounding against panel walls. The phosphor bronze shield with tin plating provides EMI/RFI protection. Contacts are phosphor bronze with gold flash rather than the standard silver plating.
