These flat flexible cable assemblies are designed to solve the LCD interconnect "disconnect" problem. Their low-profile, overmolded strain relief is said to be for critical mechanical applications. The cables` folding and flexing features reportedly solve difficult routing requirements. They are available with 31, 41, 51 or 60 conductors, and are compatible with Hirose connectors. An optional extraction tool is available.
