The U.FL Series SMT connector is said to provide a low mated height of 2.5 mm while occupying 7.7 mm2 of board space. Compared with the company`s E.FL Series of SMT coaxial connectors, this receptacle reportedly offers board-space reduction of approximately 18 percent and weighs 5.7 mg. Its high- frequency performance is said to be VSWR of 1.3 or less from DC to 3 GHz. The product is suitable for use in a variety of portable information devices, including mobile phones, electronic measuring instruments and wireless communications equipment.
