F113SC adhesive was formulated specifically for terminating all types of fiber optic connectors. It is said to provide both high bond strength, as well as low-stress connections with no pistoning. The product has a dark-blue color, which is said to allow for easy polishing. Because for some applications a clear adhesive is preferred, F131 adhesive, which reportedly provides the same high strength and nonpistoning properties required for terminations, is available.
