The 3750 universal high-frequency test socket is for the Daymarc 717 Handler. This pressure-mounted test interface is said to fit all TSSOP173 devices from 14 to 28 leads. It provides the clearance required for the Daymarc 717 plunge mechanism and alignment pins to mate with the handler. In normal handler operation, the socket is pressure-mounted to the load board with screws. In manual operation, a specially designed alignment frame is fitted to the contact blocks with alignment pins, and both the alignment frame and the contact block are pressure-mounted to the load board.
