The SuperSplice CS-1500 provides an alternative to soldering for a range of applications, including wire-to-wire, wire-to-component, wire-to-PCB or wire-to-subassemblies. Using a continuous reel of spliceband crimping material, this system cuts, forms and crimps the required amount of material into a precision splice around the wires, which reportedly creates solderless joints that comply with UL 486C pull-force specifications. Besides leveraging off the previous system designs, this product`s direct-drive technology is said to provide additional benefits of low weight, noise reduction and safe operation.
