The PPL-PF Pick & Place Label Printer/Feeder is said to provide on-demand label printing and presentation to pick-and-place equipment. It is designed to mount into existing pick-and-place machines like any other feeder unit. The machine operates by printing a label and presenting it for placement via a standard nozzle. The information to be printed is obtained from an existing mainframe or from an attached PC. This product is capable of generating 2-D symbologies (including EIA-approved Datamatrix, bar codes, serialization and graphics).
