The Pluscon-VC (Vario Connector) is a multiposition, rectangular, high-density connector for screw-clamp wire termination or PCB through-panel connections. It is rated up to IP67, with certain enclosures. The connector reportedly can withstand direct hose spray and extreme temperatures from -40o to 248oF. With its plastic, metal or EMI-shielded housing, it is said to be resistant to corrosive atmospheres that result in tarnish. Santoprene gaskets seal the connector`s hood to the enclosure to ensure that oils do not deteriorate the seals.
