The 5645 Series of surface mount board-to-board connectors is designed for use in space-restricted enclosures such as cellular phones, notebook computers and other portable electronic devices. They feature 0.5 mm contact spacing and a board stack height of 1.5 mm. A two-piece connector body with metal reinforcements is said to reduce mating stresses and improve retention strength to the board during the automated soldering process. Available in 20, 30, 40, 60, 80, 100, 120 and 140 positions, the connectors carry a current rating of 0.4 A per contact and a maximum voltage rating of 50 V.
