These 370 Pin Surface Mount PGA Sockets are designed for the high-speed Intel Celeron microprocessor. The sockets have integral tabs for mounting a heat sink plus a fan. They are offered in a low profile (0.200" high) and have floating contacts that maintain contact with the solder paste to ensure coplanarity during the reflow process. Ultra-low insertion-force contacts permit hand installation of the processor and removal with the flat blade of a screwdriver. Large windows in the sockets reportedly permit decoupling capacitors to be placed beneath the processor.
