This insulation displacement terminal (Part No. 33100P) reportedly saves time on the point-to-point wiring process and requires no special tools. Without stripping the wire, users place the wire in the side opening of the terminal. Then, with a screwdriver, they pull down on the level, which sets the insulation displacement mechanism. The terminal is said to be UL-approved for 16 AWG, 600 V/10 A, and works with stranded and solid wires. It can be jumpered with push-in clips (Part No. 33130) and is mounted to a DIN 35 mm rail.
