The model HDX high-density distribution shelf fits 144 fibers into 8.75" of vertical rack space. It also contains a number of built-in features to ease fiber management. It is said to be compatible with existing LGX-style shelves and fits into any standard 23" wide rack frame. This shelf is suitable for increasing fiber density in applications, including customer premise installations, CATV head ends, telephone central offices and outside-plant remote terminals.
