Harwin adds LatinRep in Mexico and Brazil

Aug 20, 2010

SALEM, N.H. -- Harwin, a manufacturer of connectors and interconnect systems for hi-rel applications, announced that the LatinRep Group has agreed to represent Harwin in Mexico and in Brazil. Formed in 1988 in Mexico, LatinRep says its focus on design wins and sales has produced a strong and balanced line card.

LatinRep president Alberto Solano comments, “Demand creation on a local basis is at present a major challenge for the Mexican electronic industries, however, electronics design expertise is growing in both Mexico and Brazil, therefore, we have made a focus on design wins an integral part of our culture. The Harwin line of hi-rel connectors perfectly suits the needs of many South American companies and we are delighted to be able to offer them to our customer base.”

Bill Neukomm, Vice President Harwin Inc. adds, “We are honored that LatinRep has chosen Harwin. We look forward to working with them and are sure that through their field sales engineers in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Juarez, Tijuana, and Sao Paolo we can develop much more business in Mexico and Brazil.”
