NEDA's education foundation elects Meade to board

Nov 3, 2009

November 3, 2009 – The National Electronic Distributors Association’s (NEDA) Education Foundation recently appointed Dr. Laura Meade to its board of directors. Dr. Meade is an associate professor of supply chain practice in the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University.

The Neeley School of Business offers a Supply and Value Chain Center, which provides forums in which company representatives, faculty, and students exchange ideas with supply-chain experts in an interactive environment. The program’s mission is to develop future supply-chain leaders with integrative skills and a global perspective; to exchange ideas and best practices between business partners, faculty, students, and supply-chain experts; and to sponsor leading-edge research that will advance supply-chain practices.

In addition to her background as an educator, Dr. Meade has held engineering positions in the private sector. She joins Richard Meznarich of the University of Nebraska-Kearney as faculty representatives on the foundation’s board of directors. She will serve a three-year term.
