December 4, 2009 -- MPE-Garry, a sister company of Binder-USA, has released a PCB power connector with an increased power density. These connectors are intended for board-to-board connection in the solar panel industry.
Each connector is built on a 5.08 mm pitch and has a rated current of 16 Amps per contact. It has a continuous operating voltage of 600 VAC and can withstand temperatures of -40 deg C to 105 deg C. These new parts are available as board-to-board connectors with 2, 4, 6 and 8 contacts for surface-mount, through-hole and pin-in-paste technology.
MPE-Garry produces and markets primarily PCB connectors in many styles and pitches and with various termination options.
Binder-USA, LP is a subsidiary of Franz Binder GmbH & Co., a German-based designer and
manufacturer of circular connectors and cordsets for use in industrial environments including factory automation, process control, and medical technology applications.
