Meant for use in motor, industrial, pump-control and switch-gear applications, the JB-OTB-358 series of terminal blocks from BlockMaster enables easy installation thanks to its wide array of colors.
The "Jelly Beans" high-power terminal block combines the color-coding advantage of the Jelly Beans series with the higher load capacities of the high-power series, BlockMaster says. The result is a block with an operating current rating of 60 Amps at 600 Volts with a pitch of 16mm in terminal configurations from 1 to 15 positions. The JB-OTB series accepts wire sizes from 3 to 10 AWG CU with an operating temperature range of -40 to +90 degrees C.
BlockMaster explains that the matching of internal and external wire connections enhances ease of field service. That matching is achieved through the use of the product's modular construction and the color-coded jelly-bean concept, with terminal block colors offered in red, white, green, blue, yellow, black and gray. Housing material is UL94-VO polycarbonate and is RoHS-compliant. A clear plastic snap-on cover is supplied for additional safety.
