Lemo USA, Inc., subsidiary of Lemo SA, Switzerland and a specialist in the design and manufacture of precision custom connection solutions, announced the appointment of Dean Pohwala as new general manager, nominated by Alexandre Pesci, president of the company's board of directors.
Pohwala will replace Albert Meylan, who has been Lemo's acting GM since October 2010. Meylan will be returning to another management position at Lemo Headquarters in Switzerland.
Since March of 2011, Pohwala held the position of national sales manager, where he drove the development and implementation of Lemo USA's sales business plan and provided guidance to the North American sales reps and distributor network.
“I am very excited that Dean has accepted this challenge,” said Lemo's Meylan. “He has the vision to develop the strategy required to respond to our customers’ needs, and the competencies to lead Lemo’s organization towards a successful expansion in the U.S. market.”
Pohwala will be based at the Lemo USA facility in Rohnert Park, California.
