Harwin expands TTI distribution to include North America

Dec 15, 2011

Harwin, a manufacturer of high reliability interconnect and PCB hardware products, announced that it has extended its relationship with TTI, Inc. , global distributor of passive, interconnect, relay and switch and discrete components, to now cover customers in North America.

Harwin and TTI have an existing authorized distribution partnership in Europe, and Harwin is also represented globally by Mouser Electronics, the TTI subsidiary that supports design engineers with new product / technology introductions.

TTI's Vice President Supplier Marketing and Product Management, Lew LaFornara, comments, "TTI is pleased to announce the extension of the TTI/Harwin relationship in the Americas. Our companies have enjoyed a successful relationship in Europe and at our sister company Mouser Electronics for a number of years and this is a natural evolution of that success."

Harwin helps solve interconnect and PCB hardware design challenges; the company says its Datamate high reliability connector family provides high performance at industrial connector pricing level, while the EZ-BoardWare range of surface mount PCB hardware products delivers space and cost-saving solutions for cable management, EMC, test and battery support functions.

Doug Steele, Harwin Vice President Global Distribution, adds, "We are very excited to be partnering with TTI. TTI is well known for holding broad and deep product inventories to support customers as they ramp up from new design to full production."
