Intelliconnect offering RF connector custom design services

Nov 1, 2011

Intelliconnect USA, LLC, a US-based manufacturer of RF connectors, announced that it can now provide custom-designed products within 8 weeks, starting from the customer's design approval, no matter how complex the design.

So confident is the company of its custom design capability, it further states that it will not charge any design or NRE fees; in addition, there is no MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity). The company says it will provide free prototypes upon placement of the first production order.

"We have a vast amount of connector design and manufacturing experience," comments Terry Browning, president of Intelliconnect USA LLC. "Our efficient component sourcing, design and manufacturing expertise enables us to offer exceptional customer service, very attractive lead times and competitive pricing for high volume requirements."

Custom designs may include the modification of a standard product to provide proprietary termination, extended operating frequency range, special plating or a different case material (such as stainless steel), to a completely new design (such as the Intelliconnect ABMS connector for cochlear (ear) implants, notes the company).

"Intelliconnect offers one of the widest ranges of standard coaxial, triaxial and waterproof connectors available worldwide," added Intelliconnect's Browning. "Reliable component supply and on-time deliveries are more important now than ever. Using our efficient development and manufacturing processes allows us to support our customers with a full JIT and Kanban service."
