Connectronics issues mini- high voltage series

Feb 2, 2010

Available now through direct factory sales from Connectronics Corp. (Toledo, OH), the CPW Series is a push-pull miniature high voltage connector system that solves space constraint issues in commercial and defense electronics applications. The connectors operate at 12 KVDC Corona Free at 4.5 AMPs (maximum) current from sea level to 70,000 ft. altitude from temperature extremes of -55° to +125° C. Mated system size is 0.77" length x 0.250" Dia. where space and weight conservation are of high concern. The panel mount receptacle component is ready for installation and grit blasted at the factory so that customers can achieve superior bonds with potting compounds, or adhesives, in their assemblies.

High Voltage Market Facing Diminishing Space Requirements

Miniature high voltage connector series solves space constraint issues in commercial and defense electronics industries.

Toledo, Ohio, January 20, 2010 - Connectronics Corp. CPW Series are available now through direct factory sales. CPW is a push-pull miniature connector system that operates at 12 KVDC Corona Free at 4.5 AMPs (maximum) current from sea level to 70,000 FT. altitude from temperature extremes of -55° to +125° C. Mated system size is 0.77" length x 0.250" Dia. and provides a low cost high voltage interconnection solution for applications where space and weight are of high concern.

The panel mount receptacle component is ready for installation and is grit blasted at the factory so customers can achieve superior bonds with potting compounds, or adhesives, in their assembly. The plug and receptacles may be purchased as connector assemblies in either straight or 90° configurations with customer specified wire lengths. The FEP insulated high voltage wire used on the connector assemblies can be purchased with a silicone coating (Sil-Koat) compatible with silicone potting and adhesive materials, or pre-etched to aid in bonding to epoxy potting materials or other adhesives.

CPWs can be ordered as a single ended plug, single ended receptacle or as double ended assemblies in any combination of connectors. CPWs may also be ordered as completely assembled cable assemblies utilizing special connector hardware to meet unique specifications.

Connectronics Corp., a Heico company, is a custom manufacturer of specialized connectors & interconnection systems. Product lines include high voltage connectors, high current connectors, underwater connectors, & specialized connectors. Cable assemblies are also available. Capabilities include engineering design & testing.
