Arrow Electronics mints global components specialty business group

Arrow Electronics announced the appointment of Brian McNally as president of specialty businesses within the distributor’s Global Components business segment.

According to the distributor, in the role, McNally will focus on expanding the offerings and accelerating growth for this newly formed business group, which includes A.E. Petsche Company Inc., Richardson RFPD Inc., and Nu Horizons Electronics Corp.

McNally will report to Peter Kong, president of Arrow’s Global Components business. "Brian’s extensive industry and international experience and track record of leadership at Arrow will drive the growth of these businesses’ offerings and cross-selling opportunities,” commented Kong.

McNally previously served as president of Arrow’s Europe, Middle East, and Africa Components business from 2008 to 2011. For more than 28 years, he has served at Arrow in positions of increasing responsibility, including president of the company's Global Alliance and Supply Chain Solutions, and president of its North America Components business units.
