Report: Top 100 connector manufacturers earned $39B, more than 85% of total market, in 2010

The latest market research report, 2011 Top 100 Connector Manufacturers, worked out by Bishop & Associates, Inc.,  states that the top 100 connector manufacturers worldwide reported a value of shipments amounting to $39.527 billion in 2010.

Bishop estimates that this figure stands for around 87.2% of the global connector market. The report adds that the balance of companies in the connector market had 2010 shipments of $5.815 billion, and made up 12.8% of the total market.

Providing in-depth statistical reporting for the leading connector manufacturers in 2009 and 2010, Bishop says the the full study covers total sales, sales by end-use equipment market, sales by product category, and other major market metrics. The reviewed manufacturers are are ranked by region of the world with percent year-to-year change. Sales in 2010 are presented for each manufacturer.
