Arrow NAC appoints new president

Apr 6, 2010

Arrow Electronics Inc. announced that it has named Vinnie Vellucci as president of Arrow North American Components (NAC).

In this role, Vellucci will lead the electronics components products and services business for the distributor's Americas region, as well as the Global Alliance business for Arrow Global Components.

He will report to Peter Kong, president, Arrow Global Components. Arrow NAC provides electronic components, services, and solutions to a range of original equipment manufacturers as well as contract manufacturers.

Vellucci has been with Arrow for more than 40 years and has served in numerous senior management positions. Most recently, he was senior vice president of sales for Arrow Components in North America. Prior to that, he served as senior vice president of global sales excellence, president of Arrow Electronics Components, president of Arrow/Bell components, and president of Arrow/Zeus electronics.

“Vinnie has a long history of building strong relationships with suppliers and customers to deliver exceptional results. His strong track record of sales leadership, commitment to building a culture of sales excellence, and a deep knowledge of Arrow and the electronics distribution industry make him ideal for this role,” commented Kong.

Former president Kurt Colehower has left Arrow to pursue outside opportunities.
