Circuits Assembly's Chelsey Drysdale reports that contract electronics manufacturer Key Electronics will expand operations at its Jeffersonville, Indiana manufacturing facility, creating up to 75 new jobs by 2014. The company is a manufacturer of printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies for the industrial controls, aerospace/defense, medical, appliance and consumer interconnect segments.

Key currently employs upward of 150 workers at its existing 104,000 square foot plant in Jeffersonville, and is now hiring additional manufacturing staff for its Spring production run. The firm says it ultimately plans to invest more than $2.2 million to increase production space at its Jeffersonville facility.
