Anderson Power Products PowerMOD HP

Safety features of the PowerMod HP connectors from Anderson Power Products (APP) include touch-safe female housings, cable strain relief, and integral positive latches. The high-power connector series is RoHS compliant and rated up to 450 amps for appropriate applications at a 30ºC temperature rise.

Incorporating patented sterling contact technology, the PowerMod HP connectors offer low electrical resistance, provide a minimum of 500 mating cycles, and are rated for circuit interruption, i.e. hotplug. Designed for exceptionally simple assembly, the connectors are IP20 rated (touch safe) for user safety. Integral coding key provides further protection by allowing the user to configure unique mating of up to six individual connectors.

The connectors accommodate American wire sizes from #6 to 4/0 AWG, and metric wires from 13.3mm to 95mm sq. For additional reliability, a cable strain relief kit that encompasses all applicable wire sizes is available as a product option. The connectors' latching system offers superior security and ergonomics, as well as clear identification through distinct blue-colored buttons.

Offered in 10 different connector housing types, the series includes right angle, bus bar, panel mount, and blindmate/float options, offering broad design flexibility for current and future high-power interconnections.
