Newark now carries the Tyco Electronics' MULTI GIG RT family, used in VITA 46 applications. The connectors provide high-speed data rates for communication, military, medical, and industrial control applications that can't be handled via traditional VME connectors.
Tyco Electronics says its MULTI GIG RT family combines the latest packaging and connector technology with the latest bus and serial technology. It increases bandwidth with fewer pin counts and enables heterogeneous architectures, preserving existing investments in technology and systems.
“The addition of this technology underscores our commitment to provide design engineers with the broadest selection of technology options,” said Jeff Uden, vice president, product management, Newark. “These connectors have optimized footprints for signal integrity and ease of design.”
