Binder has released an unshielded version of its Series 702 M9 cordsets. The unshielded feature provides a cost-effective alternative to the shielded M9 connectors, the company says. The connectors are ideally suited for commercial applications that do not require electromagnetic interference or EMI shielding.
The M9 connectors have the option of 3, 5 or 8 gold-plated contacts in male and female versions. When mated and locked the connectors fulfill anIP-67 rating. Cordsets are offered with cable lengths of 2 and 5 meters. Series 712 field-attachable connectors and receptacles make a complete connecting system.
