Bishop & Associates announced that its new market research study, the 2011 European Connector Market Handbook, has recently been published by Market Publishers Ltd.
According to the study, over the coming five-year period, the European connector market is forecast to grow at 4.3% CAGR, to ultimately reach USD 12,677.4 million by 2015. The research contends that this growth is only partially organic, as the world economy further strengthens over the next five-year period, and European countries other than Germany begin climbing out of recession.

The projected growth is also partly the result of depreciation of the U.S. dollar versus the euro, says Bishop. According to the book, not all market sectors are expected to experience the same growth, and some will become more lucrative than others. The report predicts that the computer and peripherals market sector will in effect continue to decline in Europe; at the other side of the spectrum, the automotive sector is expected to make a strong recovery.
