According to a report at Truck Trend, Chrysler has issued a sizeable recall of the 2009 Dodge Journey, a mid-size crossover wagon.
The problem? The wiring harnesses on the vehicle's front doors may degrade over time and disable the circuitry associated with the side impact sensor. This in turn will illuminate the gauge cluster's airbag warning light and cause the loss of the side airbags, which increases the chance of injury in the event of a crash.

The recall that could potentially affect 65,180 vehicles, says the report. Dodge dealers will replace the driver and passenger door wiring harness starting in February 2011.
