Oconto, WI, December 15, 2009 -- Unlimited Services announced that it has been participating in Oshkosh Corporation's contract with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) to supply wiring harnesses for 6,219 medium all-terrain vehicles (MATV) slated for use in the war in Afghanistan.
Vehicles produced under the Oshkosh MATV Program are primarily designed and built by Oshkosh. Ramping up production of the vehicles' critical wiring harnesses during the first three months of the program, Unlimited says it has now achieved delivery capabilities of 1,000 harnesses per month , and has also supported increasing demand for service parts, allowing Oshkosh to maintain an aggressive delivery schedule.
The MATV units will be delivered to Afghanistan to support the efforts of U.S. military operations in that country.
