October 9, 2009 -- Distributor LADD Industries now offers the DRC22-40PA, the latest addition to the Deutsch Industrial DRC family of high-density pin-count rectangular connectors. They are designed for environments in which moisture, dirt, and rough terrain can contaminate or damage electrical connections.
The DRC22-40PA accepts 40, size-20 contacts rated at 7.5 amps each. The thermoplastic body includes an internal flange for environmentally sealed bulkhead mounting. With seals and grommets that will withstand high engine and transmission temperature, the connector is suited for internally or externally mounted electronic modules, LADD says. It is shock- and vibration-resistant and meets all the standard specifications for the heavy-duty Deutsch product line.
