October 5, 2009 -- Souriau recently expanded its online configurator, which lets users obtain part numbers along with detailed 2D drawings of connectors that match their needs, to include online ordering capability.
After users custom configure connectors on the site, they can now click a 'Buy Now' button to instantly order their products in quantity from the dealer. Some U.S. dealers also offer users the option to check inventory before placing an order.
In addition to the new function, the following new products have been added to the configurator: the UTS Hi-seal connector, which is watertight with IP68/IP69K ratings even when unmated; the RJ45 and UTO RJ45 high-speed Ethernet range; and the UTS square receptacle.
