Valdor Technology International Inc. (www.valdor.com) says it has developed a new LC connector using patented Impact Mount technology, which is all-mechanical, with no epoxy or index matching gel.
The connector is targeted at fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) and fiber-to-the-curb (FTTC) applications, where smaller, high-density solutions are required. In addition, Valdor’s HeptoPort technology utilizes the concept of 2-dimensional (2D) fiberoptic self-alignment for interconnection applications, suitable for harsh environment and small space applications in the field.
With the completion of the LC connector, Valdor says it now offers a complete line of conventional and most-used field installable connectors?ST, SC, FC, SP and SMA.
In addition, the company has developed proprietary SP harsh environment, SP miniature, and HeptoPort 7-Fiber Bundle connectors.
