August 5, 2009--Phoenix Contact's PC 35 pluggable PCB terminal block can carry up to 115 amps, and is designed for such applications as power electronics, frequency converters, motor connections, solar inverters and drives.
The PC 35 features standard screw-connection technology and accepts wires up to 2 AWG. It is UL-rated for field wire termination (via screwdriver) and is through-panel mount capable.
Light-touch force reduces mechanical stresses and possible damage to the PCB solder joints. Silver-plated contacts are highly conductive and designed to provide long-term reliability.
The terminal block has 600-volt UL and 1000-volt IEC ratings, with optional shielding available for applications that may be exposed to electro-magnetic interference.
