August 4, 2009--Designed for high data rates and excellent low-noise characteristics required by multimedia, infotainment and entertainment applications, Yamaichi Electronics' HF507S Series board connectors (pictured above) feature transfer rates up to 5 Gbits/sec. They are available with 21, 31, 41 and 51 pin counts, in 180° or 90°, and additionally in shielded or unshielded versions.

In addition, MatchCon board connectors (MBP/MBS series) are characterized by a proprietary contact design for applications with strong vibration exposure. Positioning springs permit male and female contacts to interlock strongly so that the typical fretting of tin-plated contacts can be eliminated.

MatchCon (pictured below) is based on a 1.27-mm pitch, and offers a wide range of 90° and 180° board connectors in SMT and with TH pins. The connection to the cable is secured by IDC technology, while another locking feature allows an additional locking between the board and cable connector. Versions are available with pin counts from 6 to 26.
