August 4, 2009--Anderson Power Products' POWERMOD PSX low-profile family of connectors is 30% smaller than comparable products and suited for power connections to embedded AC/DC power supplies or for board-to-board connections in servers, storage enclosures and communications equipment.
The streamlined POWERMOD PSX features power contacts rated to 60 amps and signal contacts rated to 1 amp (ratings per UL1977). The series is available in either power and signal versions, or power-only to provide power distribution and control in a single connector body. The combined power and signal connectors offer 80 signal contacts, in addition to either 2 or 4 power contacts. The power-only connectors are available in 2, 4, 6 and 8 contact configurations.
Both versions offer male connectors in vertical and right-angle configurations and a vertical female configuration designed to support coplanar, backplane or mezzanine connections.
